Wendy completed her Bachelor degree at the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She has breadth of experience having worked in the NICU, SRU, Radiology, and in Clinical Research.
After finishing her Masters in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University in 2010, Wendy joined the Complex Care Center, providing primary care to children with medical complexity for more than 8 years.
In 2018, Wendy completed the doctoral program in population health at Xavier University as a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She continues her doctoral work in preparing youth and their families to transition from the pediatric system to the adult health care system, leading efforts in the Comprehensive Neuromuscular Center.
