Meagan L. Peek, MD

I've been interested in medicine since middle school and my passion grew from there. My love for pediatrics began while I was teaching piano lessons to elementary school children.

I am a pediatric cardiologist, and I also practice fetal cardiology. One of my favorite things about cardiology is the ability to follow patients throughout their lives and develop relationships with the children and families over time.

In the Division of Cardiology, we have multiple satellite clinics to bring care closer to home and reduce the travel burden on families. I have at least two patients in every visit — the child and the parent. I strive to provide excellent care for the patient while addressing the parents’ concerns and fears.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing the piano and participating in vocal choirs. I also play in a handbell choir at my church.
