Kris R. Wesselkamper, MD

As a pediatric neurologist and neuro-hospitalist, I care for children and adolescents who are hospitalized with neurological conditions. Taking care of children takes a team effort, and like every team, each person has a special role. When we work together, we can accomplish our goals.

I have a deep love for learning, especially in the sciences. Neurology is an ever-changing environment with new tests and treatments continually improving the field. I also get satisfaction from forming connections and relationships with patients and their families.

In my practice, the care I provide stems from the relationships I form. I feel it is my job to present a patient and family with information so they can make an informed decision about their child's care.

When I’m not helping patients and families, I like to spend time with my family, watch soccer and bike.
