Advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) are a vital part of our healthcare team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. APRNs provide quality, cost-effective services and clinical care through education, research, and state-of-the-art technology and programs. We value them as expert leaders who are dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
As an APRN at Cincinnati Children's, you will have the opportunity to work with more than 240 nationally certified APRNs in more than 30 specialty areas. APRNs work in areas ranging from inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, research, as well as general and community pediatrics. There are a variety of specialty areas that fall under each setting which allows APRNs to continue to advance their career within the same medical center.
Just a few of our specialty areas include Neurosurgery, Hematology / Oncology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Regional Center for Newborn Intensive Care, Pain Management, and Emergency Medicine.
