Informational Events
The Genetic Counseling Graduate Program hosts a number of events throughout the year to help prospective students and others who are interested learn more about the genetic counseling profession and the program here in Cincinnati. Events we hold include:
DNA Sample Day
A daylong event in the summer to provide an overview of the genetic counseling profession, hear from current counselors in the field, meet genetic counseling students and ask questions.
Open House
An evening event held in the fall to learn more about our program and admission process, as well as meet genetic counseling faculty and students. A recording of our 2021 Open House is available for those who cannot attend this event. Note: video does not work in all browsers.
GC Information Sessions
Quarterly events to provide information about the genetic counseling field and the Cincinnati Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. Also provides opportunities to meet and ask questions of genetic counselors and program faculty.
