Key Partner of Cincinnati Children's Tests Positive for COVID-19

We can confirm that an employee of a key partner organization of Cincinnati Children’s has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee is in quarantine at home. Protecting our patients, families, visitors and staff is our top priority. Upon notification of this employee’s diagnosis from Butler County General Health District, we immediately initiated a contact investigation to determine which staff, patients and family members may be at risk.

Staff who have come into close contact with this employee are quarantined at home. Patients and families have been notified as well and provided with appropriate guidance and support.

Butler County General Health District is now in charge of the situation and we are working closely with them to take every precaution to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff.

Our thoughts are with this employee and those affected by COVID-19. We cannot provide any further information due to patient and employee privacy laws. We will continue to partner with public health officials to ensure all those we serve have the information they need to remain healthy.
