Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute to Deliver Meals to Local School Children

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Employees with the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s are helping out school children in need of meals in Greater Cincinnati.

Employees and volunteers put together 1,500 bags of non-perishable food which will be delivered to local children. The "Fit-Kit" program headed by dietitian Catherine Anthony will supply about 6,000 meals to children and their families who will depend on school-related food during this challenging COVID-19 period. Each kit can feed a family of four.

Employees are dropping off 600 of these kits to Norwood City Schools on Thursday.
