Staff members of the International Patient Care Program offer answers to frequently asked questions about Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Cincinnati Children’s is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, with convenient access to expressways, the airport, hotels, restaurants and area attractions. It is served by the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), within a 30-minute drive to the hospital.  Dayton International Airport (DAY) is located within a 90-minute drive from the hospital.

Contact us at international@cchmc.org. To review your child’s case, our physicians will need a medical history, including medications and results from surgery, laboratory, radiology, cardiology or other tests. Information and results must be in English.

To continue the process, download our demographic form, fill it out and return it to the International Patient Care Program. You may email it (download a Word document) or send it by fax or mail (download a PDF).

Contact us at international@cchmc.org. We request that you provide the patient’s medical history, including medications and results from surgery, laboratory, radiology, cardiology or other tests. Information and results must be in English.
Staff members of the International Patient Care Program will be glad to provide visa support letters and put you in touch with our Guest Services staff who will help with arranging hotel accommodations and airport transportation.
A qualified medical interpreter will be available at no cost during consultations and procedures. All our international coordinators are fluent in one or two foreign languages.

The Cincinnati area encompasses parts of three states – Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. Greater Cincinnati is a lively travel destination along the Ohio River.  Cincinnati has a very rich cultural heritage and is known for its major league and college sports and world-class arts and culture. We have many multicultural shops, restaurants, attractions and religious organizations. Cincinnati is also the headquarters for various national and international companies.
