Services We Provide for International Patients and Families
At Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, one of our promises to you is to treat all patients and families with the same care that we would want for our own families. Our international patient team serves as the primary contact for families who are coming from outside the United States seeking medical care from our institution.
You are not alone in your journey, we are available to help:
- Locate the right physician to meet the patient’s specific needs
- Obtain a proposed plan of care, diagnostic testing and procedures, expected length of the visit, and follow-up care
- Obtain estimated cost for the treatment plan
- Provide resources and support before, during, and after your visit
- Work with families and embassies to ensure coverage and payment
- Provide free interpreting services during your appointments
- Facilitate appointment scheduling at Cincinnati Children’s
- Find and communicate with providers in your home country to continue medical care
- Make sure medications and supplies are ordered and available for your return to your home country
- Provide support and coordination for your safe repatriation
