Cincinnati Children’s welcomes Teri McCambridge, MD, as director, Division of Sports Medicine. McCambridge, an accomplished athlete, previously served in private practice in Baltimore and was affiliated with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. McCambridge and colleagues will continue to provide team physician support for numerous college and high school teams.

Samir Shah, MD, MSCE, has been appointed director of the newly formed Division of Hospital Medicine. Shah had served for six years as a faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before arriving at Cincinnati Children’s in the summer, 2011.

Robert Spicer, MD, is leaving the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s to become division chief of Pediatric Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. Spicer had been with the Division of Cardiology here since 1999.

Oncology researcher Timothy Cripe, MD, PhD, has been appointed chief of the Division of Hematology / Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Cripe was the founding director of the Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Tumor Program at Cincinnati Children’s. He recently made headlines with his research into gene and viral therapies to combat solid tumors in children.

Linda Cripe, MD, is leaving the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s to join the faculty at The Ohio State University and the staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital as Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs and Clinical Director of the Comprehensive Neuromuscular Program.  Cripe had been with the Division of Cardiology since 2000.
