CuSTOM Center Opens
This year we opened the
Center for Stem Cell and Organoid Medicine (CuSTOM) at Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation. CuSTOM is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and entrepreneurs using advances in developmental biology and stem cell technologies to revolutionize personalized medicine and improve patient care. CuSTOM will recruit new faculty to expand its research into new areas including neurobiology and cardiovascular biology. Because of a $5M matching gift from the Farmer Family Foundation, CuSTOM will be able to accelerate the translation of basic research discoveries into approaches for improving patient care.
