Becoming a Patient

The Hypermobility Clinic is currently closed. During this time, patients and families may discuss care options with their primary care provider.

Referral Information for Patients

The Hypermobility Clinic at Cincinnati Children's serves patients who have entered puberty through age 22. Children with hypermobility who have not yet entered puberty can be evaluated and treated through our Physical Therapy division with a focus on joint protection and core strengthening.

Pediatric patients may also be referred, if needed, to other Cincinnati Children’s specialists, such as geneticists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists, who have experience in these disorders.

Out-of-State Patients

We only accept new patients from our primary service area:

  • Clermont County
  • Butler County
  • Warren County
  • Kenton County
  • Boone County
  • Campbell County
  • Dearborn County
