The Hypermobility Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s is accepting new patients from ages 6 through 22 with a referral from your physician. We discourage referral of patients less than 6 years of age because diagnosis of hypermobility disorders cannot be reliably made in very young children.
Pediatric patients may also be referred, if needed, to other Cincinnati Children’s specialists, such as geneticists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, gastroenterologists and cardiologists, who have experience in these disorders.
The Hypermobility Clinic is unable to see patients older than 22 for new visits because of high patient volume and wait list times. Established patients will continue to be followed until the age of 25, and at that time they will be transitioned to adult providers.
We are now accepting new patients from throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia who meet the age requirements above.
