The Hypermobility Clinic at Cincinnati Children's is accepting new patients who have entered puberty through age 22 with a referral from your physician. Children with hypermobility who have not yet entered puberty can be evaluated and treated through our Physical Therapy division with a focus on joint protection and core strengthening.

The Hypermobility Clinic is unable to see patients older than 22 for new visits because of high patient volume and wait list times. Established patients will continue to be followed until their 22nd birthday, and at that time they will be transitioned to adult providers.

Pediatric patients may also be referred, if needed, to other Cincinnati Children’s specialists, such as geneticists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists, who have experience in these disorders.
