Family-centered Care for Children with Complex, Life-Threatening or Chronic Conditions
The Pediatric Palliative and Comfort Care Team / PACT at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center offers comprehensive, family-centered care for children with complex, life-threatening or chronic conditions. The PACT is comprised of physicians, social workers and a nurse practitioner.
The Pediatric Palliative and Comfort Care Team is an interdisciplinary team that can:
- Help coordinate your child’s medical care, along with your child’s present medical care team
- Assist in making complex medical decisions
- Provide expert pain and symptom management
- Recommend / make referrals for supportive therapies such as holistic health, spiritual care, child life, music therapy, home care and hospice
