The University of Cincinnati University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is located in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s. It is one of 67 UCEDDs in the United States authorized under Public Law 106-402 (The Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 or "DD Act").
The vision of UCEDD is that all people, including children and adults living with disabilities and their families, fully participate in society and live healthy, safe, self-determined and productive lives. Our mission is to be a leader in working with and on behalf of children and adults with disabilities and their families so they can lead the lives they want.
The UCEDD accomplishes its mission through education, training, research, impacting on policy, and sharing information.
