Condition Specific Measures

Condition Specific Measures

Cincinnati Children's is committed to ensuring that our patients achieve the best possible health outcomes. Fundamental to reaching this goal is the use of condition-specific measurement where we define and report disease-specific health outcomes including remission rates, physical functioning and health-related quality of life. These measures tell us how our patients are doing and whether they’re getting better and achieving their full health potential. In addition to disease-specific health outcomes, we report process measures to help us understand the methods of health care delivery and how these methods conform to current evidence.
