Patient Experience Survey

Patient Experience Survey

We’re grateful that so many families take our experience surveys. Thanks to you, we learn what Cincinnati Children’s should keep doing — and what we can change. Your feedback helps us provide kids with the highest quality care.

Why the patient experience survey is important

The patient experience survey provides you an opportunity to share thoughts and concerns about the care, services and respect you have received during your stay visit at Cincinnati Children’s. Your responses on the survey will help us identify ways to improve the quality of care and services the needs of our patients and their families.

We strive to make the children within our community healthier. We strongly encourage our patient families to complete our experience survey questionnaire to tell us how we did when caring for your child. Without the voice and perspective of our patient families, we would not be able to make meaningful improvements.

How does the survey work?

We use a survey company called National Research Corporation Health (NRC Health) to administer and collate survey results. NRC Health distributes our survey either by email, SMS text, or phone call to Cincinnati Children's patients within a few days following their visit. Patient families are asked to complete the survey and provide comments regarding important aspects of your care. The survey will be about 12 questions, and should only take approximately two to three minutes to complete.

If you receive our experience survey through email, the request to participate will come from this address: connectsurvey@surveynrc.com. If you are not able to take the survey online by email or text, NRC Health will use phone call to contact you. This gives you a chance to offer feedback over the phone. Many families find this an even easier way to share their comments and ideas. NRC Health will call two times; 24 hours after no response, and again the next day. If you can’t answer, they will leave a message. You may call back any time within a two-week period to take the survey.

We’re listening because your opinion is the heartbeat of our organization

One thing that never changes is how much we truly value your feedback. We read all of the responses and comments we receive in the experience survey and will continue to use your insights to improve child health and transform the delivery of care.

Thank you for being a part of the Cincinnati Children’s family and for taking the time to offer feedback.
