Schedule and Curriculum

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to allow fellows to gain gradual autonomy and be seen as the primary neuroimmunologist for their patients, providing care to both inpatients and outpatients with the support of faculty leadership.

Rotations

  • Pediatric Neuroimmunology Clinic: Fellows will have 3-4 half day clinics a week dedicated to pediatric neuroimmunology clinic.
  • Adult Neuroimmunology Clinic: Fellows will have 1 half day clinic a week where they see adult neuroimmunology patients at the University of Cincinnati.
  • Neuro-Rheumatology Clinic: Fellows will have 1 half day clinic a month of neuro-rheumatology clinic.
  • Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic: Fellows will spend a total of 4 weeks throughout the year in neuro-ophthalmology clinic.
  • Inpatient Consults: Throughout the year, fellows will assist with pediatric neuroimmunology consults from the inpatient neurology team.
  • Neuroradiology: Fellows will have the opportunity to spend up to 4 weeks throughout the year with neuroradiologists in a clinical or research capacity if interested.

  • Neuroradiology/Interventional Radiology: 4 weeks
  • Multidisciplinary Clinic (Neurology/Rheumatology): Monthly
  • Neuro-Ophthalmology: 4 weeks
  • Neuroimmunology Consults: Longitudinal
  • Pediatric Neuroimmunology Clinic: 4 clinics/week
  • Adult Neuroimmunology Clinic: 1 clinic/week
