First Aid Kit for Traveling
In addition to the typical first aid items, like bandages and antibiotic ointment, physicians at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center recommend the following travel items you may not have considered.
- Resealable plastic bag (use as a makeshift ice bag)
- Children's Tylenol® (with appropriate dosing information for your child's age and weight)
- Your pediatrician's phone number
- Antibacterial scrub or soap, used to clean small abrasions or cuts
- Electrical outlet covers
