Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers many opportunities for health care professionals to continue their professional education and training. The continuing education provided will help achieve the best medical and quality of life outcomes for patients and families. 

Continuing Medical Education (CME) - Provides online and live activities for physicians, APRN's and other healthcare professionals.

Center for Professional Excellence / Education (CPE/ED) - Offers continuing education opportunities for nursing and allied health professionals.

Program Description
Education and Training Department The Education and Training Department supports a variety of opportunities including: Patient and Family Education, Leader Development, Workforce Training, Non-clinical Computer Training and Succession Management.
Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMS-C) The Emergency Medical Services for Children program provides training and continuing education programs to pediatric emergency care providers.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Courses (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support Courses given by Cincinnati Children's emphasize small-group teaching, present information and skills needed for the management of seriously ill or injured pediatric patients.
Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPPS) Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals courses are designed to give prehospital providers the education, skills and confidence they need to effectively treat pediatric patients.
Pediatric Medical Residency Training Program Pediatric Medical Residency Training Program trains approximately 155 residents in six programs, including pediatric primary care.
Additional Residency Programs Cincinnati Children's offers a variety of residency programs, including Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology.
Simulation Center Course Offerings The Center for Simulation and Research offers a variety of classes and can work with your team to develop training specific to your individual needs. Training can encompass all areas of simulation center operations-from health care administrators to health care providers, educators and simulation specialists.
Fellowships Cincinnati Children's more than 25 fellowship / postdoctoral training programs.
Parent Education Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center sponsors several community education opportunities and special events throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
