-- Fatty liver disease and metabolic syndrome in children
-- Treatment of viral hepatitis in adults and children

  2. Digestive Disease and Immunity
-- Inflammatory bowel disease: mucosal immunology, microbial sensing
-- GI epithelium: cellular ecosystem, crosstalk, and function; mucosal permeability
    -- Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders

  3. Stem Cell and Organoid Modeling of Digestive Disease
    -- Molecular basis of organogenesis
-- Organoids to model physiological domains: esophagus, stomach, intestine, colon, liver, bile duct
-- iPSC- and patient-derived organoids to model GI and liver diseases
