Dr. Pandey accomplished his PhD research, “Maternal Immunoregulation and Foetal Survival,” in the laboratory of Dr. Suraksha Agrawal in the Department of Medical Genetics at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow and received his PhD in 2003. He completed his postdoctoral research work in laboratory of Dr. Stephen J. Russell in the Molecular Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN (2002-2004) and in laboratory of Dr. Jörg Köhl in the Division of Immunology at Cincinnati Children’s (2005-2010).
Dr. Pandey has received the Alexion Rare Disease Innovation Award ($200, 0000) for conducting cutting edge research on the topic “Controlling Inflammation in Gaucher Disease” , as well as the American Association of Immunology Early Career Faculty Travel Grant award in 2015. Dr. Pandey is a member of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Association of Immunology, and American Society of Human Genetics. He is also a reviewer of several peer reviewed journals including the Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics, The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Journal of Reproductive Immunology, International Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Future Medicine, Plos One, and Science etc.
