Denise LaGory, RPh

I am the lead pharmacist of the Investigational Drug Service. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy in 1995. I started my career at Jewish Hospital followed by Oncology Hematology Care. I joined Cincinnati Children’s in 1999 and rotated through main pharmacy, outpatient pharmacy, OR pharmacy and oncology clinic pharmacy. In 2002, I started full time with the Investigational Drug Service and in 2003, became the Lead Pharmacist.

Sara Boland, RPh

I am a part-time pharmacist in the Investigational Drug Service. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2000 and have held various positions in retail, specialty, and long-term care pharmacy. At the start of the COVID pandemic, I was hired temporarily to assist in the COVID vaccine trials. I then transitioned to a permanent part-time employee and joined the Investigational Drug Service pharmacy in June of 2022.

Isis Chesko, RPh

I am a pharmacist in the Investigational Drug Service. I attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida and graduated with my pharmacy degree in 1995.  I started my career at Wellington Regional Medical Center and moved to Cincinnati soon after. I started at Cincinnati Children’s in 1998 and have worked in the inpatient pharmacy, oncology clinic pharmacy and now, the Investigational Drug Service.

Kellie LaChance, CPhT

I am a technician in the Investigational Drug Service. I’m originally from Kentucky, but have called Cincinnati home since 2008. I started working at Cincinnati Children’s in 2009 in the main pharmacy and staffed in the OR pharmacy before joining the Investigational Drug Service team full time in 2011. 

Melissa Stamper, RPh 

I am a pharmacist with the Investigational Drug Service. In 2001, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy and then began working at Cincinnati Children’s as a staff pharmacist. I started in the inpatient pharmacy and then became trained in the OR pharmacy and also as a NICU and general pediatric pharmacist. In 2003, I joined the Investigational Drug Service as a staff pharmacist. 

Kristie Price, PharmD

I am a research pharmacist with the Investigational Drug Service, primary working with the Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Units. I began my career as a pharmacy technician at CVS in 1994 and later joined Good Samaritan Hospital. I joined Cincinnati Children’s in 1995 as a pharmacy technician and later became an intern before graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2005 as a pharmacist. I’ve worked in the inpatient pharmacy, outpatient pharmacy, OR pharmacy and the Investigational Drug Service. In 2006, I joined the Investigational Drug Service full time.
