• Services

To enhance patient care, Emergency Services at Cincinnati Children’s provides care through many important services:

  • We offer 24-hour emergency care at our Burnet Campus, which includes the region’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center. The Burnet location is fully staffed with expert physicians and nurses. Additionally, this facility acts as a teaching hospital where we train the doctors and healthcare leaders of tomorrow.
The Cincinnati Children’s Liberty Campus offers a 24 / 7 pediatric emergency department fully equipped and staffed to treat most pediatric emergencies and supported around the clock by laboratory testing, X-ray and an inpatient  unit.

Our Urgent Care Centers are staffed by physicians and nurses who are experts in pediatric emergency medicine. We are available for after-hours pediatric care at Outpatient Anderson, Cincinnati Children's Green Township, Outpatient Mason and Burnet Campus.

It is important to know the difference between an urgent care center and the emergency room when seeking care for your child.

  • Safety Tips

Most accidents that land families in the emergency room each summer are preventable, say doctors at Cincinnati Children’s and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
