Pilot / Feasibiilty Grant Application Form (252k)
This application is in MS Word.

Background

The Rare Lung Diseases Consortium (RLDC) administrative core supports three pilot and feasibility awards per year at $25,000 each. Grants will be awarded for one year, with a second year contingent on a progress report including a formal presentation.

Purpose

The awards are intended to support pilot or feasibility projects related to one of the four targeted diseases of the Rare Lung Diseases Consortium: alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD), lymphangioleimyomatosis (LAM), pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) and hereditary interstitial lung diseases (hILD).

They may fall into the realm of basic science, translational, or clinical studies. Priority will be given to hypothesis-driven projects involving human subjects that are likely to lead to extramural funding, make novel scientific contributions, or facilitate new clinical trials.
