No one understands a dancer like a dancer. Our team of dance medicine specialists-pediatric-trained physical therapists with years of experience treating dancers and a history of high level dance themselves — offer both on-site and off-site dance medicine services to meet the needs of your dancers.
Dance Analysis - Onsite
The dance analysis is a multidisciplinary clinic consisting of a sports medicine physician and a physical therapist to evaluate children, adolescents, and young adults participating in recreational or competitive dance who:
- Have a dance-related injury.
- Are returning to dance after injury.
- Want to prevent injury.
- Want to improve their dance technique and performance after injury.

Dance Outreach Clinic - Off-site
What specific services does the program offer?
The dance outreach clinic supports local dance studios through its outreach program. This program includes:
- Pre-pointe evaluations.
- Educational classes.
- Injury clinics.

Dance Ready to Perform Program - On-site
Our Ready to Perform Program is dedicated to ensuring your dancer is ready to perform his or her sport safely at the highest level possible. This fee for service program is focused on enhancing sports-specific performance, specifically to determine pointe readiness, in dancers.
Who would benefit from the program?
- Athletes who are pain-free during and after their sport who want to improve technique or performance.
Option 1: 45-minute session: Pre-Pointe Evaluation Price $50
- Pre-pointe evaluation
- ROM, strength, flexibility and balance assessment.
- Dance technique assessment.
- Exercise prescription and pointe recommendation.
