Allergy and Immunology

Overview

At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the physicians of the Division of Allergy and Immunology offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for the management of children with allergic disorders including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, latex allergy, drug allergies and insect sting sensitivity, as well as children with immunologic disorders.

In collaboration with the Division of Hematology / Oncology Divison, children with suspected immunodeficiency are also evaluated and treated. Immunologic evaluation includes studies such as antibody and complement levels, IgG subclasses, lymphocyte and neutrophil function, and delayed hypersensitivity skin testing.
