Rosario Alarcon, MD

I specialize in pediatric endocrinology, caring for children with diabetes, growth disorders and other hormone-related conditions. My passion for medicine comes from the opportunity to develop close relationships with families and watch children grow and thrive over time. I find the science behind endocrinology fascinating; understanding how hormone pathways interact with different organ systems allows me to make a meaningful impact on my patients’ lives.

Working together with families is at the heart of my approach. I believe that the best care happens when we collaborate, and I truly enjoy being part of each child’s journey to better health. It’s incredibly rewarding to see kids overcome challenges and live full, healthy lives.

Outside of work, I love exploring Cincinnati with my husband. We enjoy trying new restaurants and hiking in the area.
