About

Biography

I’m a resident in the child neurology / pediatrics combined residency program. I believe the patient and their needs, as well as those of the patient’s family, are vital and that treatment of the patient’s disease should not lose sight of those needs.

When I was young, at the orphanage or while in school, I was always fascinated by the incredible diversity in my friends’ capabilities and interests. I think the brain is the most fascinating organ, and I’m excited and honored to treat those with neurological diseases.

I see patients in clinic every Thursday afternoon with my preceptor, Dr. Mark Schapiro. In my research, I'm studying developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and tuberous sclerosis complex, including how they present and how to treat them.

When I have free time, I like to play tennis and soccer, play board games with my friends and take care of my friends’ pets. I also love a quiet evening of listening to music and reading.
