As a pediatric pathologist, I strive to provide the quality of care that I would want to have for my own family.
I was inspired to pursue my career by my father, a physician. I have loved pathology since I was in medical school. One of my mentors during my pathology residency motivated and guided me to be a pediatric pathologist. My goal is to be an expert in pediatric gastrointestinal pathology.
I was honored to receive the Outstanding Resident Cytopathology Award (2017) for best resident in the Cytopathology rotation by the Pathology Department at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. I was elected top resident in the Autopsy service rotation by the Pathology Department at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and received the Autopsy Pathology Award (2017).
In my research, I’m working on multiple small projects in different areas. During my free time, I am a numismatist, which means I collect rare old coins.
