I care for infants in both newborn and special care nurseries. Being the first pediatrician families meet in those early hours and days after birth is a privilege I don’t take lightly. I know how overwhelming those moments can be, and I’m passionate about supporting parents—especially when it comes to helping them reach their breastfeeding goals, both in the hospital and once they’re home.
My goal is to provide evidence-based care for every infant, while making sure families feel heard and informed. I believe decision making should be a shared process between families and the care team. I make time for the many questions that can come with newborns, regardless of if they are in the newborn nursery or requiring higher level of care in the special care nursery and believe this is essential to creating a trusting therapeutic relationship with families.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our dog, Winnie. We’re happiest outdoors—hiking at the Cincinnati Nature Center or relaxing on the lake with family in Indiana and Tennessee. We’re also big FC Cincinnati fans, so you might spot us cheering at a home game or two!
