Samuel Brayer, MD

As a primary care pediatrician, I’m dedicated to supporting children and their families from infancy through adolescence. Most of my clinical time is spent caring for healthy kids during regular wellness visits and helping families navigate the common illnesses of childhood (colds, asthma, allergies, ear infections, rashes, constipation, and headaches). I also specialize in the diagnosis and management of neurobehavioral conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and ADHD, in addition to diagnosing and treating mood disorders like anxiety and depression.

My parents both work in healthcare and growing up with their example taught me the value of service. The joy I find in working with children drew me to pediatrics, and I was inspired by the powerful role a primary care provider plays in shepherding a child as they grow and develop. I believe the most profound difference I can make in this world is ensuring the health of children. My goal is to provide a comprehensive medical home for my patients, one that promotes the health of the whole family, including parents.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading long (sometimes boring) books, rock climbing, and riding bikes. My favorite animal at the Cincinnati Zoo is Rico the Prehensile-Tailed Porcupine. I can’t wait to learn which animal is your favorite!
