Shannon Bough, CSFA

As a surgical assistant, I work closely with surgeons in the operating room. We do surgeries for specialties that include general surgery, urology, gynecology, eyes, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and plastic surgery.

My sister passed away as a newborn from a heart problem and learning about her condition inspired me to go into medicine. Working with adults, and now with children, the key for me is to treat each patient as an individual. My goal is to improve their health and well-being through surgery on an individual basis. I strive to provide excellent care in the operating room.

I enjoy spending my free time with my friends and family, especially doing outdoor activities.
