I have always loved working with children. Cincinnati Children's offers me the opportunity to help children and their families during some of the most stressful times of illness or injury. I provide care for injured children, those in need of general healthcare, and those undergoing abdominal and/or chest wall surgeries.

I strive to provide compassionate care, seeking to understand and comfort patients and families in the most challenging circumstances. As part of our trauma services team, I provide comprehensive care for injured children from their arrival in the emergency room to their discharge from the hospital and beyond.

My research work in trauma services aims to improve outcomes for injured children. I continue to look for opportunities and areas in which we can improve our practice. I am certified as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (2013).

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our four sons and extended family. I enjoy cooking, traveling, exploring new places and doing just about anything outside.
