I’m passionate about supporting children and families as they navigate mental health challenges. My care philosophy centers on creating a safe, supportive space where kids and their caregivers feel truly heard and understood. I believe trust is the foundation of good care, so I make it a priority to listen closely to both the child and their family. I strive to keep visits interactive and approachable; kids should feel comfortable and empowered, not overwhelmed. While I love making sessions engaging and kid-friendly, everything I do is grounded in evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes.
I was inspired to become a pediatric mental health provider after witnessing the difference compassionate, evidence-based care can make in a child’s life—not just for them, but for their whole family. Pediatric psychiatry allows me to build ongoing relationships, collaborate with families, and help children develop the tools they need to thrive. Watching kids grow in confidence and resilience is what motivates me every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two lively dogs. I love reading, exploring new recipes in the kitchen and discovering new flavors—cooking is one of my favorite ways to relax. I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors whenever I can.
