As a nurse practitioner, I provide care for adolescents and young adults. I also work with adolescents in juvenile detention centers. My approach is patient and family-centered, with an emphasis on complete primary care focused on adolescent needs. I believe healthcare visits should be a safe place for patients to discuss mental and physical health without shame or punishment.
Volunteering in school clinics drew me to working with children. My mother, a registered nurse, inspired me to go into nursing. After working as a provider in general pediatrics, I came to love empowering adolescents to take control of their own minds and bodies and to be active members of their healthcare team.
In my free time, I like to hike, travel and watch Cincinnati sports teams. I also enjoy hanging out with my family.
