About Me


Mandi completed her MSN in 2005 at the University of Cincinnati and her DNP in 2015 at Otterbein University. She has been employed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for 17 years and is assistant faculty at University of Cincinnati in the doctor of nursing practice program. Clinically, Mandi has focused her career in Endocrinology on investigation of treatment for precocious puberty and transition of adolescent patients to adult care. She is also an Endocrine provider in the Pancreatic Care Center for patients with chronic pancreatitis undergoing Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Cell Auto-Transplantation.

Professionally, she is involved with the Pediatric Endocrine Nurse Society as a committee member. Mandi serves as legislative chair for the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and has a passion for healthcare policy. She has attended the Nurse in Washington Internship and has worked closely with Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the Council for Ohio Healthcare Advocacy in the past regarding changes to Ohio's Nurse Practice Act.
