About

Biography

I’m passionate about caring for children and families, and I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. I was inspired to pursue pediatrics by my mother, who is a speech-language pathologist for children in special education. I strive to provide trauma-informed, comprehensive care and understand what matters most to each child and their family.

My clinical practice includes pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. I am especially interested in child welfare, trauma and improving access to mental healthcare in primary care settings. I’m also dedicated to advancing racial equity in healthcare.

I’m honored to have received the George F. Gill Prize in Pediatrics for scholarship in pediatrics in medical school, as well as the Herrmann Prize, which recognizes the listening and communication skills that patients hope their physician will possess.

Outside of work, I love kickboxing, singing, and exploring new restaurants with friends and family.
