As a physician assistant in inpatient neurology, my approach to medicine is centered on listening, understanding, and building trust with every patient and family I meet. I believe that healthcare is most effective when it’s truly collaborative—where patients feel heard, supported and empowered at every step of their journey.
I was drawn to medicine by a strong desire to support individuals during vulnerable times, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and access to the resources that can best assist them. Working with children is especially meaningful to me; their resilience, determination, and ability to remain lighthearted even in the face of adversity inspire me every day. Neurology often involves complex conditions, but I find it profoundly rewarding to walk alongside patients and families throughout their journey, helping each child reach their fullest potential and thrive outside the hospital setting.
Compassion, respect, and open communication are at the heart of my practice. I strive to create an environment where families feel safe, informed, and cared for. For me, the most meaningful part of medicine is forming genuine connections and walking alongside patients through both challenges and victories. My goal is to not only provide excellent medical care but also to bring comfort, hope, and encouragement to every interaction.
Outside of work, I love staying active by running and playing soccer in local leagues with my sisters and former college teammates. I enjoy traveling to new destinations, especially national parks where I can hike and take in incredible views. Discovering new music, searching for the best espresso in the city, and caring for my houseplants are some of my favorite ways to unwind. Most of all, I cherish spending time with my family—especially my nieces and nephews whenever I get the chance.
