My clinical practice focuses on pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry, with a special interest in developmental disorders. My goal is to help my patients reach their goals and pursue their passions, providing the support they need along the way. I believe each patient is unique and should not be defined by their diagnosis.
I completed my PhD in medical neuroscience, where I studied ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. My research involved working with animal models and utilizing advanced techniques such as awake-behaving neural recordings, optogenetics, computational neuroscience, and pharmacotherapy approaches. Through my research, I aim to better understand how people learn, communicate, and build relationships, providing support and removing barriers for those facing challenges in these areas.
I am honored to have received the Gold Humanism Honor Society award and the F30 Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral NRSA Fellowship. These recognitions reflect my commitment to compassionate care and advancing our understanding of developmental disorders.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling to new places and performing aerial acrobatics.
