Nancy R. Durban, PT, MS, DPT

I am a doctor of physical therapy and a member of the orthopaedic sports medicine team. I treat adolescents with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.

My passion is helping children get back to being children. I care deeply for my patients and provide care that centers around their unique needs as a whole person rather than just their current health conditions. I give my patients my undivided attention and pay careful attention to what they and their families have to say.

I serve as the clinical coordinator and primary physical therapist in the outpatient Interdisciplinary Pediatric Chronic Pain Clinic, where I am responsible for providing physical therapy and care coordination locally and nationally.

I am the current president and past vice president of the Academy of the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Pain Special Interest Group and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Media Corps. I have also served as an Ohio Delegate to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates.

It was my honor to receive the Physical Therapist of the Year award from the Cincinnati Children's Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy (2021).

In addition to my practice, I support the education of future physical therapists by serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati's graduate physical therapy program.

When I'm not working, I love cooking, eating, exercising, and cheering for Cincinnati and Ohio State sports teams!
