My clinical specialty is pediatric neurology. I’m most interested in general child neurology, but I look forward to experiencing different subspecialties during my training and finding my niche. I believe in being a strong advocate for patients and their families and being someone who can empathize with them during triumphs and setbacks in their care journey.
I had a stroke when I was just four years old, so I have always been interested in working with families of children with neurological diagnoses. During medical school, I worked with great preceptors who showed me the breadth of work a pediatric neurologist could be involved in. I enjoy the variety of pathology that we see and treat.
I’m from the Pacific Northwest and love to spend my free time outdoors hiking, camping and backpacking. The mountains are my happy place! I also love family time when I’m not working.
