About

Biography

I’m a nurse practitioner specializing in pre-op anesthesia. As a parent, I try to connect with the whole family and partner with them in their care. Active listening, empathy and advocacy are tenets of my care model. I treat my patients the same way I would like my children to be treated.

My great-uncle had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). As a child, I watched the progression of his disease and was aware of the resources available (or not available) to him. Hearing about his care team inspired me to venture into healthcare so that I could thoughtfully take care of patients in the future.

I have been honored with Daisy Awards as an emergency department nurse, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors. For my honeymoon, I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc!

BA: Molecular Cell Biology, UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA.

BSN/MSN: University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.
