About

Biography

I am a pediatric nurse practitioner committed to holistically understanding my patients and their families. I believe that a child’s mental, emotional and physical needs, as well as their unique family dynamics, are all essential components of their overall well-being.

I’ve always enjoyed working with children and families. My background prior to nursing was in psychology/family therapy. It’s clear to me that both physical and mental health work together to improve community health.

I appreciate working in the emergency department and urgent care settings. Not only does it allow me to provide education and comfort to families during high-stress situations, but it also affords me the opportunity to work with families with diverse cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. I hope to use the knowledge and understanding I gain through working with these families to improve any health disparities within my clinical practice.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, watching my kids play sports and traveling.

MSN/CNP: Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.

National Certification: Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, 2007.

Licensed in Ohio and Kentucky.
