About

Biography

As a pediatric gastroenterologist, I am passionate about helping children grow, thrive and reach their full potential. I focus on general pediatric gastroenterology, with particular expertise in Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and in supporting children who experience growth faltering or abnormal patterns of weight gain. The gastrointestinal system plays a central role in our overall health and quality of life, and I am dedicated to helping children find relief and resilience as they navigate a variety of GI disorders.

I believe deeply in family-centered care, recognizing that the best medical decisions are those that not only support your child’s health but also align with your family’s values, needs and realities. My goal is to partner with you, listen to your concerns and work together to create a care plan that best fits your child and your family.

Outside of medicine, I cherish spending time with my husband and daughter. We make it a priority to walk our dog every day—rain, shine or even snow. I also enjoy cooking cuisines from around the world, with a particular love for Latin American food, which I came to appreciate during my medical training in Houston.
