As a pediatrician, I am highly interested in treating childhood obesity and behavioral health concerns. My care philosophy is to “just keep swimming.” I want to inspire children and families to make small positive changes in their lives that can lead to a lifetime of lasting health and happiness. A special/unique service I provide is earlobe piercings.
I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was five years old. I still cherish my relationship with my pediatrician and her impact on my life. She treated me holistically, not just focusing on my physical health, but on every aspect of my life and wellness. I want to provide that same care for every child I encounter, so they have the best opportunity to live a full, fruitful life.
I love to be active with my friends and family when I'm not working. When the weather and time permit, you can catch me, near and far, biking, swimming, hiking or kayaking! Each day, my solace is working out at a local spin class, listening to music, reading, trying a new recipe or watching HGTV. I also went to the School for the Creative & Performing Arts (SCAPA) in Lexington, KY, where I majored in piano. I have been playing the piano since I was four years old.
