I’m a pediatric dermatologist caring for children and young adults with a wide range of skin conditions. My clinical interests include connective tissue disorders, oncodermatology and surgical dermatology. I provide comprehensive care for congenital, inflammatory, infectious and autoimmune disorders, as well as everyday concerns like eczema, acne, birthmarks, psoriasis, warts and hair and nail disorders. I also offer a range of laser and surgical treatments to treat vascular anomalies, scars, and other benign and malignant skin lesions, always using evidence-based approaches that prioritize comfort and the best possible outcomes.
I believe that caring for children and teens is about much more than medical expertise; it’s about empathy, patience and true partnership with families. My approach centers on listening, creating a safe and welcoming environment and translating complex problems into clear, actionable treatment plans. I strive to make each child feel comfortable and involved in their care and my goal is for families to leave feeling informed and confident in their child’s treatment. I especially enjoy working with adolescents, helping them navigate skin diseases that can affect both their health and self-confidence during such an important stage of life.
My passion for dermatology began in medical school, where I was drawn to the specialty’s blend of visual diagnosis, problem-solving and meaningful procedural work. Pediatrics felt like a natural fit, offering the chance to build long-term relationships and make a real difference for families.
I’m honored to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, as well as the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance.
My research focuses on improving access, safety and innovation in pediatric dermatology, with interests in complex medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention, scar management, lasers, surgical dermatology and dermatopathology. My overarching goal is to expand evidence-based treatment options and advance research in areas where data remain limited.
In my free time, I love cooking, traveling and exploring skincare, wellness and aesthetics from both a scientific and artistic angle. I also enjoy fashion, design, and contemporary art, and I cherish spending time with my family. Friends and colleagues know me for my warm sense of humor, attention to detail and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
