About

Biography

I am a pediatric psychologist completing a NIH T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Behavior and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children's under the mentorship of Dr. Meg Zeller and Dr. Carolina Bejarano. I first came to Cincinnati Children's in 2023 as a clinical psychology resident in the Behavioral Medicine Track. I earned my PhD in 2024 from the University of Florida in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology under the mentorship of Dr. David Janicke, where I focused on research in pediatric obesity. My current program of research is focused on understanding social determinants of health and the intergenerational impact of food insecurity on pediatric eating and feeding behaviors. I am passionate about using this line of research to inform my clinical practice working with patients experiencing cardiometabolic disease, chronic illness, disordered eating, and acute mental health concerns.
