What inspires me the most is my family — they are my ‘why.’ What I love about being a nurse practitioner is seeing children and families grow and developing relationships along the way.

About

Biography

As a pediatric primary care provider, I care for newborns through young adults. I think it is essential to look at the entire dynamic of the family when treating each patient. Providing comprehensive care to the family is important to me.

I believe in a team approach to caring for children. We work together with parents to come up with the best plan of care for each child. I want them to feel comfortable with my care and be actively involved in making decisions for their child, both during well visits and in times of illness.

I’m originally from Paducah, Kentucky, and have been living in Cincinnati since 2003. Coming from a family of many healthcare workers — including nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and social workers — I knew from a young age I wanted to work somewhere in the healthcare network. As I got older, I wanted to be in a position that allowed for both clinical care and education, and nursing fit the bill perfectly. Working with children is a bonus. Their outlook on life, health and well-being are always inspiring.

As a pediatric primary care provider, I care for the entire family, including the patients, parents and often their siblings. We are a small community practice that operates as one big family to care for your family. We all love caring for children throughout their lives, and we strive to make your family comfortable during every visit with us.

In my free time, I like to be outside with my husband and three girls.
