Alexandria Hendon, PA-C

I’m a physician assistant specializing in the inpatient management of gastrointestinal disorders and liver and intestinal transplant. My role centers on caring for children in the inpatient setting before and after transplant, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and supporting families through every step of their medical journey. I collaborate closely with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, and other specialists to ensure each child receives comprehensive, compassionate care.

I was inspired by medicine from a young age, driven by a lifelong goal to care for others. During my clinical rotations in the Pediatric ICU and liver/GI transplant at Cincinnati Children’s, I discovered how rewarding it is to work with children and their families through complex and often challenging times. I’m deeply committed to pediatric medicine and take a holistic, patient-centered approach, always striving to build long-term relationships and provide support that goes beyond the hospital stay.

I’m honored to have received the Dr. Creighton B. Wright Leadership Award from the Mount St. Joseph University PA Program and to be inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for Physician Assistants, which recognizes academic excellence, leadership and service.

Outside of work, I love exploring Cincinnati’s parks, reading a good book and spending time with family and friends. I love traveling—especially to the beach—and I’m a big Bengals and Buckeyes fan!
