I care for children and families through general pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child psychiatry at Cincinnati Children’s. My path into medicine did not begin in a lab or lecture hall, but as a camp counselor and tutor. After realizing the impact of early mental health on lifelong clinical and psychiatric outcomes, I knew my career would be dedicated to addressing early mental health outcomes.
In my practice, I prioritize time with patients and families. I believe meaningful care starts with listening, and that inspired and expressive children are healthy and resilient children. Every treatment plan is a collaboration, tailored to the needs and strengths of each family.
In 2025, I received the Excellence in Public Health Award from the U.S. Public Health Service Physician Professional Advisory Committee—an honor that reflects my commitment to public health and advocacy.
Outside the clinic, I recharge in nature. Hiking, forestry, and gardening keep me grounded, and I bring that same sustainable mindset to my work. I also enjoy cooking and spending time with family and friends—reminders of the simple joys that connect us all.
